It’s been a while since we last drove an all-electric car. The 2015 Chevrolet Spark EV is more compact than the Chevy Volt but I personally like it better. It has such a modern style and is so zippy. That’s the great thing about electric, the power is consistently good. The Spark EV gets about 80 miles on one charge.
2015 Chevrolet Spark EV Review
I had plenty of room and got used to the Spark EV very quickly. Handling is easy and charging is a breeze. Frans felt a bit squished due to the narrow profile so I did most of the driving. The ride is smooth and the vehicle is quite nimble.
The amount of features available on the Spark EV is pretty impressive. On such a small car you can still enjoy the benefits of a backup camera, navigation, heated seats, and impressive sound. Charging can also be set for certain times to save energy.
Looks wise, I think this is one of the better styled electric cars. Frans snapped this photo when he was charging up at work. This is one green car you don’t have to be embarrassed to be in and you won’t have to worry that someone will mistake you for a hippie tree hugger.
The 2015 Chevrolet Spark EV is a great choice for a compact electric car. You’ll still be paying at least $26,000 but think of all that money you’ll save on gas! Small families and those with a short commute will love this car.
