Last year, I was thrilled to have been invited to the 2014 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. My family experienced Disneyland in a way we never had before and I learned so much during the conference. As an intimate, invitation only event, I felt so appreciative to have been a part of it just once. So, when the invitations for the 2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration started going out, I had no expectations of an email landing in my inbox. In fact, I spent a good amount of time congratulating all of the other invitees I saw online because I knew they’d love it just as much. Then it happened…
Yes, a few hours later, I received an invitation to attend. Since the conference is back in its usual location at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the cost of airfare all the way to the other coast was a huge concern. However, after considering the amazing event the year before, we decided to do what we could to make it work.
2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration at Walt Disney World
Well, I’m happy to say that everything is set and we’re headed to Walt Disney World! This will actually be our second time to WDW. For our first visit, we tagged along on my mom’s anniversary vacation four years ago. Since we kind of crashed their trip, we tried not to be an inconvenience and basically did what they wanted to do. This time will be different and we plan to make the most of it as a special family event (aside from one conference day that I’ll be away).
So, I invite you to join us during the event May 8-10 using the hashtag #DSMMC on Twitter. If you want a sneak peak of what will be happening you can check my posts on last year’s event as well as ones written about our first Walt Disney World trip. By this time next week, I’ll be writing to you from the other side of the country!
