Summer is coming and the perfect destination for a day outing is to the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco, CA. Here’s what’s planned for the summer of 2012:
WHAT: Plantosaurus Rex – A living exhibition of prehistoric plants with models of the dinosaurs that roamed the earth millions of years ago. All visitors receive a free booklet guide with paid admission to help them navigate this fascinating story of prehistoric plants, complete with exhibit activity suggestions for young paleontologists.
WHEN: May 10 – October 21, 2012. Closed Mondays except Memorial Day and Labor Day. Also open on the 4th of July.
TIME: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays – Sundays
WHERE: Conservatory of Flowers, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

SF Residents: $5 general; $3 youth 12-17, seniors and students with ID; $1.50 children 5-11; children 4 and under FREE
