For this trip, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on Y Street in Sacramento. They are running special CA State Fair packages so we were able to stay for $79 (without tax) for one night. It was old but clean. The staff was friendly and we had a good rest.

the marriot in atlanta was the first marriot i stayed in and i loved the service and the cleanliness- i hope when i travel to cali from the east coast, that i will have the same experience!!
We stayed here awhile back for a conference. The rooms were okay but I loved the location.
