Perugina Baci White Italian Chocolate…

Are you familiar with Baci? I’ve seen the brand logo in the candy aisle before (yes, I do occasionally walk down those) but have never tried it. Last month, I was sent a bag of Perugina’s Baci White. This was the perfect opportunity to acquaint myself with the Italian chocolatier. Plus, my family loves white chocolate.

Perugina’s Baci White Confections with Hazelnuts

Mmm, these chocolates had just the right amount of sweetness and just melted in my mouth. The hazelnuts were crunchy without breaking off any tooth enamel. Finding the little ‘note’ with a famous quote printed on it was cute as well.

Perugina’s Baci White confections are the perfect way to celebrate special occasions, with a “Kiss from the Heart of Italy.” “Baci” is the Italian word for “kisses” and the confections are produced in the hills of Perugia near the historic home of St. Valentine. In keeping with tradition, Baci confections include a special message of love tucked into each foil wrapper. Baci White have a gianduia center, a sensuous whipped chocolate filling blended with finely chopped hazelnuts, that is crowned by a crunchy whole hazelnut and enrobed in creamy, smooth white chocolate.
