On the final day of Disney Social Media Moms Celebration of 2014, about 100 attendees woke up bright and early to join in the traditional Fun Run. I wasn’t one of them (the list was already full before I was invited to the conference) but it definitely sounded like a blast and I wish I could have joined in! My family and I still got up semi-early and headed straight to Cars Land in Disney California Adventure.
My paid conference pass to the event included special programming, park entrance, lodging, and some meals.
The area was opened early for DSMMoms families to welcome runners and for our farewell breakfast, sponsored by Alamo.

We also had exclusive access to three of the most popular rides: Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi’s Flying Tires, and Radiator Springs Racers.
No one would believe us if we said we rode on Radiator Springs Racers two times in a row (and could have gone more) with NO line!
From here, we all went our separate ways. It was a bittersweet ending to an amazing Disney weekend with blogging goodness and special family fun. I feel so thankful to have had the privilege of joining in the 2014 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and making so many memories with my family (and my daughter’s friend).
Thank you to all those involved in the fantastic planning and execution of this wonderful event, as well as the sponsors, Disneyland Parks, and Disneyland Hotel. This is one ‘vacation’ we’ll NEVER forget!

What a fun end to a great event! I could not imagine having any part of Disneyland closed off just for me and a few other people. How cool!
So much fun! The last time we were in Disneyland California Adventure was just being built. I guess it’s time to go again and visit!
I’d love to visit Disney Land. Cars Land looks fun!
This looks like so much fun, we want to take the kids to Disney soon.
That looks like so much fun! I’ve never been to Disneyland. I’ve been to Disney World a lot, though!
Looks like it was a great time. I would’ve done the Fun Run if I had gone.
It looks like you had a ball! I want to go next year.
