It’s funny how you get used to seeing certain things where you live. When I was in the state of Alabama, my driving companions teased me when I was saying, “What’s that?” all the time. I mean, come on, no where in the city do I ever see longhorn steer along the driveway to a restaurant or random white donkeys on the side of the road. However, it was soon my turn to get them back. When a Google Street View car drove by, something that I see fairly often, the two were incredibly giddy and excited. Here are a few photos I thought you might enjoy from the trip.

Oh girl, you have a great photographer’s eye. These are incredible. I’d pop them in frames.
Great views! Glad you had fun! Those horns scare me. I won’t have a cow with horns on our farm, just imagine the harm they could inflict?! We did miss our chance in dehorning one of our male goats so he is horned but it has come in handy in catching him! 🙂
Awesome pictures! I love that close up of the bull!
These are some really great pictures. I love to see pictures from other areas.
What beautiful photos! I certainly want to go to Alabama now.
What beautiful pictures. I would love to tour America one day.
How fun for you to experience something different than what you see everyday. Those pictures could have been taken in any of the areas near our home in Texas too!
Love the donkey, he is just hanging out. I had no idea you were down here in the South.
Those are beautiful photos. I love to capture the feel of each place I visit also. I love the picture of the builidng. You can see all of the history wrapped up in that photo.
These are some amazing photos! I love Alabama, it’s really pretty there.
Wow, fantastic photos. Those horns are incredible!
Great photos I like the first and last one the best!
My step-dad is from Alabama, and I fondly remember visiting there as a child. He even showed me the old schoolhouse that he attended as a child.
I haven’t had the opportunity to spend time in AL. I love your pics!
Those are some fantastic photos! I love driving in the countryside. I am happy that you stopped and took some pictures.
These are great photos! I definitely don’t see things like this living in Las Vegas either.
I haven’t had the chance to spend time in AL. I’ve just driven through is all.
Very interesting. The Montgomery area is not typical of the rest of the state. I think you can see some buffalo there, too.
What a beautiful place to go and visit! I love the cow, the long horns are so pretty.
