No matter how good of a driver your teen is, the fact is that they lack experience that’s essential to navigating today’s roads. Sadly, that has resulted in many crashes and some have even lost their lives. To help teens gain skill necessary skills and to help them see the danger of distracted or impaired driving, Ford offers the FREE Ford Driving Skills for Life. This advanced training program for Teens will be happening in the San Francisco Bay Area on June 10th and 11th.
Your teenager will drive on road courses in specially-equipped vehicles with a professional instructor by their side. They will improve their skills in:
- Hazard Recognition
- Vehicle Handling
- Space Management
- Speed Management
- Reaction Time
- Braking and Stopping Distances
- How to Avoid the Dangers of Distracted and Impaired Driving
I recently took part in a similar course (with different skills addressed) and it was so informative. If I wasn’t going to be away visiting family these dates, then I’d be at this Ford Driving Skills for Life in a heartbeat! All the information you need to register is below and in this printable PDF.
