Teen Beach 2 Movie – What My Teen Has to Say About It

Yay! The Teen Beach 2 movie just arrived and I was literally jumping up and down! So, once I watched it, what did I think of it? You know, there’s always the worry that the sequel won’t be as good as the first. That’s what I was afraid of. But there was nothing to worry about since this movie was just as good as the first!

Dive in and rock out with the hottest surf sequel under the sun! Now that summer ‘s over and school has begun, Brady (Ross Lynch) and Mack’s (Maia Mitchell) relationship seems headed for a wipeout – until Lela, Tanner and the “Wet Side Story” kids show up! Dazzled by the novelty and variety of the modern world, Lela wants to stay, but the real world and the “reel” world just don’t mix. Can Mack and Brady find the magic to get the kids home and get their own romance back on track before it’s too late? Packed with electrifying song & dance numbers and hilarious fish-out-of-water wackiness, Teen Beach 2 is “wow-abunga” fun for everyone.

Teen Beach 2 Movie Review

To me, this movie was as funny as the last. When I mean funny, it’s the kind that’s really cheesy but everyone still loves it. Also, the music is still the kind that your kid will play twenty times a day (if they’re like my friends and me, anyway 😛 ).

What did my mom think about it? She doesn’t think it’s as original as the last. She also thinks its cheesy. But, hey, isn’t that why it’s called TEEN Beach 2? If I was an adult, I might not want to watch a tweeny-teen show either. That didn’t stop her from watching it and laughing and crying though (heh heh).

The ending, though, is a little sad. When Mac and Brady don’t know each other, my friend and I were like, “WHY???” For me, I was just over thinking it and was like, but wouldn’t that mean that they never went into the movie? And that would mean… which would mean… so yeah.

Then, my friend also pointed out that this means there won’t be a third one! That’s probably true because they didn’t leave anything to use for the next movie. There also wasn’t an extra scene at the end (as it had last time) to hint that there might be more films coming. Say it with me, “WHYYYYYYYY?!”

The DVD is out now so you can pick it up right away. Only one set of bonus features is included on this disc, Cast Dance Rehearsals, but it also came with a Friendship Necklace like the one Lela gave Mack! It looks great on Speckles 🙂 Or, you can buy the HD digital version.

Overall, I loved Teen Beach 2.
