Ah! I can’t wait! One of our favorite shows will be returning for its third season and the first episode is tonight! If you love the whole Marvel universe like we do, then you need to get Agents of SHIELD on your radar.
The Increasingly Suspenseful Plot of Agents of SHIELD
The first half of season one turned off a lot of people. The series seemed full of fillers and with no clear direction. That all changed mid-season though. With the events unfolding in Captain America: The Winter Solder, the very core of SHIELD was shaken as it was almost impossible to tell friend from foe. Sadly, betrayal hits way too close to home.
Reeling from the events in season one, season two finds the team trying to make sense of it all. Add in some alien tech, internal conflicts, and some major tie-ins to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (the movies), and we have a full-fledged series that continues to garner more and more attention.
That brings us to season three. A new team is being built while the search is on for one of the original members who has disappeared. Remember, whatever takes place will be after the events shown in Avengers Age of Ultron. We’ll find out more about what this season hold starting tonight.
Bringing You Up to Speed for Agents of SHIELD Season 3
As you can tell, a lot has happened. Need to catch up or refresh your memory? Well, Netflix is now streaming seasons one and two in their entirety. With 22 episodes in each season, it might take a while to get through them all. It will be worth it though! You’ll also want to watch closely as, in true Marvel Studio style, tons of hints and Easter Eggs are hidden throughout the episodes.
