Can you believe that it’s been 20 years since the first Toy Story movie?! Those years have just passed by! I was super excited to hear the announcement about Toy Story 4 but the movie won’t be out for another 2-3 years (scheduled for 2018). That’s a long time to wait! Fortunately, the Pixar crew put together a little something to keep Toy Story fans happy in the meantime—Toy Story That Time Forgot.
During one of Bonnie’s play dates, the “Toy Story” crew find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It’s all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to ever return to Bonnie’s room.
Toy Story That Time Forgot on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD, DMA
Originally airing as a television special on ABC last December, Toy Story That Time Forgot was just released today on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD, and on Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA). I never saw it on TV so I was pretty curious to find out what this short is all about. The short is 21 minutes long and features many of the original voice actors from the movies like Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Kristen Schaal, Wallace Shawn as Rex, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, and Joan Cusack as Jessie.

Toy Story That Time Forgot Review
Aah! Toy Story that Time Forgot is so fun! I love how light but fluid the story is and how the new characters are developed just enough to draw you in. Reptillus Maximus and the rest of the Battlesaurs are a great addition to the Toy Story family.
My favorite bonus feature had to the the Battlesaurs Animated Opening. It’s hilarious and is a total throwback to the Thundercats opening back in the 80s! Too bad this isn’t a real series—it would probably be crazy popular. At least you can pick up some Battlesaurs toys and the Toy Story gang in battle gear.
Parents won’t have to be alarmed as the tiny bit of toy bashing (and sock monkey de-fluffing) is actually frowned upon and quickly resolved. The whole family will enjoy the humor and the positive messaging in Toy Story that Time Forgot. So make sure you add this to your Pixar collection since everyone will enjoy watching it again and again!
