New Online Shop for Greeting Cards, Stickers, and Magnets

Last year was a tough one for pretty much everyone around the globe. We all continue to find ourselves in a constant state of readjustment and it’s doubtful that we’ll return to the “normal” lives we had before the pandemic. Due to a slew of new circumstances, my family and I have had to make many changes and difficult decisions. One such decision was to move forward with setting up and opening our new family-run small business selling greeting cards and more with my daughter’s original art.

Introducing Anelynn.com Online Shop

Since she was young, my daughter has been a master doodler. She could draw the most expressive and detailed stick figures I had ever seen. Several years later and with an associate degree in graphic design, Munchkin continues to build a portfolio of fun creations. So fun, in fact, that we decided to open an online store at anelynn.com! (Yes, the cat is out of the bag and my daughter’s name has now been revealed publicly!)

You can now order her original art designs as greeting cards, stickers, magnets, prints, and custom portraits. Some designs can be customized with different hair, clothes, or skin color. Most cards are blank inside unless noted otherwise. We use high quality materials (thick cardstock, self seal envelopes, etc.) and produce everything in-house. Munchkin creates, I’m in charge of production, and Frans takes care of IT, shipping, and logistics.

For designs that need a little something extra, we are big on embellishments. Why? Just because we like them 🙂 Many greeting cards feature text or other details in vinyl, foil, and glitter.

Since most of my daughter’s art is best-suited for greeting cards, we started with making those available for sale. We are now offering stickers (glossy paper or waterproof matte vinyl), waterproof stickers (for water bottles or devices), and magnets (strong enough to actually hold stuff on your fridge). We went through A LOT of trial-and-error testing of materials for these. For some strange reason, I kept having the feeling that we needed to make our stickers and magnets practically indestructible. 😛

Of course, it’s all about presentation and we package every order as carefully as possible. We’ve had quite a few customers admit they didn’t open their items right away because the wrapping was too cute!
