Changing How You ‘Move’

by TerriAnn

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

Video games have changed a lot, especially with people putting on so much extra weight. There’s a huge shift to games what you actually need to use your body, versus just your thumbs, to control. We all know that there was pretty much a monopoly on movement-controlled games but not anymore.

Now you can get PlayStation Move. A  new controller and camera allow your existing PlayStation 3 (PS3) to take on a new gaming experience. PS3 is already loaded with features other consoles can’t even touch and a monstrous game library.

If we somehow ended up with a PlayStation Move, it would be great. We could spend more time together doing something active or just having fun. Gyms are so expensive these days and usually there aren’t many option for childcare, especially since homeschooling means my daughter is with me ALL the time. There are some great workouts that can be found using the Move technology and we can even do them together.

The official site offers some previews of some of the games that will be available. There are tons! A few of the ones that seemed appealing for our family are:

  • Sonic The Hedgehog™ 4 Episode I
  • TV Superstars
  • Racquet Sports
  • Toy Story 3: The Video Game

It’s great that you don’t have to buy twenty different items and rearrange you room for the setup. For only $99 you can get the MOVE bundle package which includes everything you need to get ‘moving’.

THis is a great idea- we love our Wii though. We play it as a family all the time! I followed you on a blog hop- I hope you follow back.

This system looks like fun. Crystal asked about how it compares to the Wii – and I am just as interested. I like that you can use the system for both kind of games and not only have a MOVE system though. That I think is the biggest difference.

Not sure. PS always has a better selection of games though, at least in my opinion.
