I’ve been hearing such great things about LifeLock and about how it can help protect against identity theft. Ever since I watched the movie, The Net, I’ve been especially conscious of how much personal information can be at risk for fraud or theft. There are general steps we can take, such as getting and carefully analyzing our free annual credit report or setting up alerts for suspicious purchase activity, but that’s not enough.
I’m happy to announce that I am now a LifeLock Brand Ambassador. Not only will I be privy to timely tips, but I’ll also have the privilege of sharing them with you!
For example, did you know that “pre-approved credit card offers, sent in the mail, represent a common source of information for identity compromises and theft”? Well, I didn’t! Thank goodness the VERY next day after I signed up to be a member, LifeLock sent an email to warn me of the potential threat and submitted my request to be removed from pre-approved credit card lists. By removing my name from these lists, I “reduce the risk of identity fraud in your name”. It’s like having my own personal security advisor – me likey!
Stay tuned for more LifeLock goodness here on my blog, in my tweets, and on the LifeLock Facebook and Twitter pages!
I am a LifeLock Brand Ambassador and am being compensated for my participation in the program. All opinions are 100% my own.

Congrats TerriAnn! You can also go to optoutprescreen.com to opt out credit card offers. I’m getting it done today!
Great to know! There are so many different tools available and it’s tough to know which to use!
Congratulations!
Thank you 🙂
Welcome to the team!
Hehe, thanks. I feel like I’ve joined an elite group of coolness :p
I have been loving LifeLock so far! I finally know what my credit score is because of the program! Congrats on becoming an Ambassador!
Thanks! I know what you mean – I feel so ‘on top of it’ now. I like flaunting it to my husband since he doesn’t have LifeLock yet 😛
