With more and more people opting to purchase items online, we forget the part brick-and-mortar stores still play in our lives. Physical stores are still ideal to for bringing home purchases right away, to compare items side-by-side, and for customer service that includes exchanges, returns, and repairs. So we don’t dread the trip but, rather, look forward to it, a positive in-store shopping experience still matters. That’s why Best Buy invested a huge amount in remodeling all of their San Francisco Bay Area stores this summer.
Best Buy Harrison Street in San Francisco, CA
Frans already checked out the new features at the San Jose store on Santana Row last month was impressed. Now it was my turn to head visit another Best Best store to see what has changed there. Together with Munchkin, I drove up to San Francisco and made my way to the store on Harrison Street. Whoa! This is a huge property!
I immediately noticed the bright and open feel of the store. With a fresh coat of paint, new lighting, and updated carpeting the store already felt more welcoming than what I’ve experienced at other local Best Buy locations before. Plus, there were massive amounts of products that were on display round about, which is a good sign any item you’re shopping for will likely be in stock.
Updated Home Theater Section
With monster television screens flashing for attention on the right-hand side, I was first drawn to the home theater section.
Oh. my. goodness. The Sony 4K and Samsung UHD displays were amazing! The color, crispness, and rich definition shown on the variety of flat and curved screens were breathtaking. If only I could take home a 60” of one of those babies! Stare, drool, repeat.
New Camera Experience Shop
From there, we walked over to the Camera Experience Shop toward the middle of the store. There is a massive selection of point-and-shoot cameras, camcorders, lenses, and more. These include products from various brands, with different features, and at a wide range price points.
Lit display cases show off several lenses and accessories. Being able to the actual size of the lenses makes shopping for them much easier than just some dimensions on a box.
Speaking of being out of the box, most of the products have a “tester” out. You can pick up each item and see for yourself how the camera or camcorder feels in your hand or if the controls are easy to get to.
Expanded Home Appliances Section
Last but not least, Munchkin and I moseyed on over to the appliance section. Whoa, Mama! I’ve never seen so many large and small appliances in one place except for at an outlet store!
I doubt anyone will complain about the expanded department with its increased variety of appliances. Stoves, dishwashers, vacuums, refrigerators, and washing machines and dryers are all over but they’re neatly organized for easy shopping. Talk about direct side-by-side comparison!
If you need to do some shopping for electronics or appliances, local San Francisco Bay Area Best Buy stores are ready for you. The San Francisco location at 1717 Harrison St. has been refreshed for your shopping enjoyment so why not take advantage of it.
I have been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.
