Make Your Own Bling Stickers w/ Blingles…
“Bling” has become a common word and for good reason – we all love shiny stuff! Now, you can create custom gem designs to stick everywhere with Blingles. This item is ‘totally’ for the tween/teen in your life!
The theme pack we received had everything needed to get started, including a tray in which gems could be sorted. Templates in the pack can be placed on the clear mat to create the design. A transfer sheet is placed on top of the arranged gems, the design is pressed onto a glue sheet, then the bling can be stuck to any hard surface. It’s really quite ingenious and the finished items look pretty slick. Now my black notebook isn’t so boring!
Using Blingles take some serious fine motor skills and patience. The gems are pretty tiny and aren’t too easy to move after being placing on the design mat. Oh, and they have a tendency to fly off the table so you might be finding colored gems around your house for the next few days. It depends on the child but I’m guessing the minimum age would be about 8 or 9 to do this project on their own.
Blingles come in theme packs, a studio, refills, and an accessory pack. My daughter loved the concept but wasn’t really into the ‘princess’ theme. Fortunately, she quickly found out how easy it was to make her own designs. The only big problem we ran into was the fact that she ran out of things to put the creation on! The next set we’ll likely pick up is the accessory pack as it includes items to stick the designs on such as a picture frame and trinket box.

I can think of tons of things to bling with this, like my Kindle case or even my daughter’s cell phone case!
Haha, I can just picture you blinging your daughter’s phone case without her knowing and ‘surprising’ her 😛
The real question is what will I bling 🙂 I would love to do this alongside my daughter.
If you’re creative, I’m sure the possibilities of what you could come up with would be endless! The only problem is figuring out who gets to keep which.
