It’s time for the 5th Annual Garden Railway exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers. The theme this year is Boomtown: Barbary Coast and will be open from 11/16/12 to 4/14/13.
Enjoy a blast to the past and enjoying San Francisco as it was during the Gold Rush days. Model trains, dwarf plant, repurposed miniatures of famous landmarks, and a life-size schooner will be among the sights that will be enjoyed by the young and young at heart.
The conservatory is open Tuesdays to Sundays, 10am to 4pm, but is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Ticket prices are as follow:
San Francisco Residents: $5 general; $3 youth 12-17, seniors and students with ID; $1.50 children 5-11; children 4 and under FREE
Non-residents: $7 general, $5 youth 12-17, seniors and students with ID; $2 children 5-11; children 4 and under FREE
