I attended a media preview of The Container Store. A gift card was given to me as a thank you for attending but was not required to post anything. The store was seriously cool and I thought other locals would want to know about it. All opinions are my own.
Last Thursday, I attended a special blogger preview of the soon-to-be-open The Container Store at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, CA. From wall-to-wall there were pieces to keep your home and office organized and clutter-free. Located next to Crate & Barrel and Nordstrom, the grand opening celebration is going on this weekend – October 26th and 27th!
Navigating The Container Store
I did plenty of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as we walked up and down each and every aisle with unique and clever items surrounding me. The whole store had a bright and open feeling despite the space being packed full of useful stuff. As the company’s mission is to help you stay organized, the layout is equally sorted in a logical order.
Products are grouped into areas such as kitchen, bathroom, storage, bedroom, and office. Still, it can be overwhelming. Our guide reassured us that ‘sales experts’ could help everyone find their ideal storage solutions as they navigated the hundreds of options available.
No matter your needs or personal tastes, there’s someone for everyone at The Container Store. The only problem? It’s going to be WAY too easy to overspend here since there are so many fantastic finds that aren’t available elsewhere. Don’t forget to head down there as soon as possible, maybe even today!
