It was kind of weird going to the store to get school supplies. Since my daughter’s new homeschool program will primarily be done online, we don’t need to get the usual items anymore. That means almost no paper, pencils, pens, erasers, folder, binders, etc. I couldn’t believe how bare our shopping basket was at the end of our back to school shopping trip.
What we will need this school year is more digital storage. With all of the digital photos, video, and documents, memory is used up very quickly and our mobile devices won’t be able to handle a full school year of projects. Among the back to school items available at Best Buy, there are several SanDisk products that will help with our storage dilemma.
Only SanDisk Memory Cards Have Earned Our Trust
Now SanDisk is a company that Frans and I have trusted for years. Only the high quality SanDisk memory cards have been use in our digital cameras and entrusted with precious photos. Proving so reliable with irreplaceable media like that, why would we use any other brand for our other storage needs?!
Since the selection of memory cards is so expansive, though, it’s good to check here to see which card is right for your usage. Choices range from professional-grade SD and microSD cards to those used for entry-level purposes. Of course, you’ll need more capacity and speed if you plan on shooting video, especially if it’s in 4K Ultra HD or Full HD resolutions.
SanDisk microSD cards can also be used in your mobile device to expand the built-in storage space. As you use up the device’s internal memory, functionality can be affected as there’s not enough computing power left to do other things. What good is it to store movies on your phone if the device can’t deliver smooth video anymore?!
SanDisk USB Storage for iOS and Android
My daughter is constantly deleting photos and video from her phone since she’s running out of space. The USB for iPhone and iPad would be perfect for her to store those hundreds of captures she’s taken of random flowers and of Speckles sleeping. Yes, that is what her camera roll is mostly comprised of. The built-in lightening tip and USB port will make it easy for her to transfer the files from her phone to an external memory. Then, she can do some homework while we’re out and about too.
For students with Android devices, SanDisk has a dual USB drive to easily transfer files between devices and computers.
So if you need to pick up some back to school memory cards or USB data drives, make sure to check out inventory at Best Buy. There are plenty of options to store and transfer files for your computer, laptop, or mobile devices. While you’re there, make sure to get a backup or two just in case the dog eats their homework (aka memory card/drive).
