Aww, what a sweet picture. “I has a friend”.
Thanks. That’s actually a plush moose but Speckles chewed off one of the antlers so I had to cut the other off too 😛
Awww he looks sad. He wants to get out and play.
Yeah, that’s her ‘look’. The only time it changes is when we headed out and she gets a smiley, kind of happy panting.
what a cute shot
Thanks – she was just so sweet laying in the sun 🙂
aww so cute!
Yes, she’s quite photogenic 🙂
That is soooo sweet!
You should hear her little sigh 🙂
What a sweet puppy!!
My cats do the same thing, in the same place!
Haha, guess they’re all the same with that.
awe i feel sorry for him.
Why? That’s her mellow look 🙂
I just assumed it was the I want to go out and no one wants to go with me look. Plus, you can tell I’ve always had boy dogs, I assume all dogs are boys. Sorry.
Haha, probably. This little girl is so lovey that she wants to be loved ALL the time. She’s 57 lbs and thinks she’s a lap dog 😛 But she does like basking in the sun! Np, I think most people assumed most dogs are boys – I tend to call them ‘him’ unless I know too! The funny thing is that she has a brother and he looks very masculine in the face compared to her.
Awe – this is adorable. So sweet!
Thanks, she was feeling pretty comfy so stayed still so I could take few shots 🙂
AWWWW so cute with his toy!
I love it when she ‘hugs’ her toys 🙂
Isn’t it so weird that dogs will lay in the sun on a hot summer day?
Totally. Since ours had dark brown/black fur, I wonder that she doesn’t melt!
But my gosh, such a sad face!
Hehe, no, that’s her ‘usual’ face. It’s either this or her, “we’re going out?!” happy look 😛
Absolutely! He’s adorable.
Thank you. We like her 🙂
That is an amazing photo!
Thanks. I think it really ‘pops’ in b&w!
Can I borrow that pup just for a day? What a sweetie pie!
As long as you are prepared to be licked and for her to ‘dance’ for you 🙂
omg that face. he looks like he needs a hug and a cuddle.
She’d love that – she’ll even sigh during the day. If it went her way, we’d be by her side playing and hugging her all the time. She loves sitting in my lap though half of her body hangs off 😛
A Black Lab? I have one too, and the one before this one was too! I love them. The one before we had 17 yrs her name was Cleo. Short for Cleopatra & now we have “Baby”, but she’s nine yrs. old already. I totally love black labs they’re so smart an so loving and obedient too. Your dog is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, you’ve got such a long history with black labs! Thank you for sharing your story – very sweet! Ours is actually a ‘mutt’ supposedly mixed with lab (of course, cattle dog, and shepherd. She was rescued as a pup along with her seven siblings and mother, housed by a foster family. We got her at 10 weeks and she has become part of the family. Speckles is a really special girl 🙂
Aww, what a cutie! Our poor Ginger is hating the heat we’ve been having, she’s been taking lots of naps!
Poor baby. Does she have a little wading pool?
Yes I do, my pups are at my man’s daughter house for the week, but they come home tomorrow. On summer days, I love laying around and taking a nap with them. They look so peaceful when they nap.
So true, except for when they twitch and talk in their sleep 😛
Awww, what a sweet picture!
Thanks, she has such soulful eyes…
