While I had heard of the series “Missing”, featuring the talented Ashley Judd, I never got the chance to see it. That all changed when I received the 3-disc Missing: The Complete First Season on DVD, recently released on 6/12. This spy/espionage meets mom series keeps you on your toes throughout, leaving each commercial break and episode with anxiety-filled cliffhangers. Some parts are predictable but others are completely shocking, with twists and turns plentiful along the way.
There were a couple of parts that we had to cover our daughter’s eyes but most scenes were fairly mild, given that most spy movies do feature good guy vs bad buy fights. If you enjoy action, suspense, and a bit of mystery, Missing is a roller coaster you don’t want to miss. Too bad the series final also ends in a cliffhanger with no second season in the way. Either way, it’s a great 10 episodes to own!

I am watching Disc 2 today. Most likely #3 too!
So, what do you think? Hit or miss?
I never saw it either, but I do remember hearing about it way back when. I really do like suspense, so I need to watch this!
I actually really liked the serious. I’m so bummed there’s not going to be a second season 🙁
I just finished watching it. If there isn’t going to be a second season, I wish they didn’t leave the last episode ending like it did. I like a happy ending.
I wonder how long they know ahead of time if the series will get a second season. Maybe they found out too late to change it?
Thanks for your DVD reviews = I feel like giving this one a shot now 🙂
I hope you like it – there are A LOT of twists and turns!
