Enjoying Those Last Bits of Summer #WW

Before plunging full-on into the new school year, my daughter was able to attend a week-long sports camp. She LOVED it! What favorite memories did your family make this summer?

Enjoy the great outdoors! We’ve had cooler weather in Atlanta which makes it much more tolerable to be outside.
Oh, that sounds great! It seems like there’s loads to do in Atlanta!
When the kids spent the week here was the best part of the summer for me!
That’s so wonderful to hear! Thanks for sharing a few tidbits of their visit too.
Since I am north of Palm Springs, we have been steam cooking lately. Looked like we were in for a bit of rain, perhaps some flash flooding. Then it just disappeared. We would love a respite from the heat.
Steam cooking? I’m familiar with steaming food but not as a general way of cooking. Very interesting!
I did rain!!! Along with the rain came lightning. The lightning killed all the surge protectors in the house, two computers, and a toaster.
I imagine she had a great time! Sounds like a nice way to kick off the school year 🙂 We had a quiet summer and are excited {nervous} excited about getting back to school! I cannot wait for fall temps to cool us off a bit!
She did have fun, even though she was a bit hesitant at first. I’m sure the kids will be fine going back and will love it 🙂
