Fannie May Berries – Chocolate-Dipped Yummies

Have you ever been invited to a swanky dinner where the hosts take care of everything and only ask that you bring yourself? Even though they say that, you don’t want to arrive empty-handed, right? In that case, you’ll likely want to bring at least a small token of appreciation for the host(s). There are the usual things to give such as flowers, wine, a dessert, or things along those lines. But, if you really want to up the ‘special’ factor, Fanny May Berries might just be the solution.

Our shipment of Fannie May Favorites Chocolate Dipped Strawberries came in a cooled care package and was sent via overnight shipping. Inside, a treat was awaiting us. Twelve scrumptious-looking chocolate-covered strawberries were tucked neatly in an attractive box. The set contained four of each variety:

Pixie Berries: dipped in caramel-infused milk chocolate and covered with pecans
Trinidad Berries: dipped in creamy milk chocolate and covered with golden toasted coconut
Mint Meltaway Berries: dipped in mint-infused white and milk chocolate

After biting into the large strawberries, the chocolate quickly broke off. We didn’t mind as the chocolate concoctions tasted good on their own. The berries themselves weren’t as ripe as we would have hoped but, being early December, it may have been due to it not currently being strawberry season.

The combinations complimented each other well. My husband preferred the coconut, my daughter liked the mint, and I was surprised to find the caramel/nut to be my favorite of the three. Needless to say, our delicious goodies were gone after just a few sittings.

The presentation of this Fannie May gift set was very appealing and one anyone would appreciate receiving either in person or by post. It’s also nice that they have the option to serve it at their shindig or keeping it as a little after-party snack.

The next time you’d like to really put a smile on the face of your generous host, or someone else you have in mind, maybe send a special collection of hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries from Fannie May Berries their way. Don’t forget to try some of their mouth-watering seasonal flavors too!
