It may not be the most glamorous item but everyone should have a good shredder in the house. What do I mean by ‘good’? Well, we’ve tried using inexpensive, generic shredders and they are just not worth it. Either they get jammed all the time or the motor burns out. My husband has always been good about shredding anything with our personal information on it (sometimes a little too good).
