Online shopping has never been so mainstream. Getting what you need is as easy as a few clicks. Even groceries can be delivered right to your door if you desire. But things are not so easy and convenient for many.
GiveBack is a free program that allows you to ‘give back’. You can set up your own foundation to donate to directly or through your normal online purchases. How? When you shop with any of GiveBack’s 400 online retailers, including Target and Wal-Mart, up to 15% of your purchase will be set aside so you can give it to your desired charities.
I love how easy it is. I just signed up with my Facebook account and $5 was instantly posted to my GiveBack account. Then I added the charities that I would like to follow. The ones I chose so far were: Autism Speaks, American Cancer Society, Pencils of Promise, and the San Mateo Library Foundation. Each of these charities hits a personal note for me.
So if you want to help others but just don’t know how, GiveBack is a great way to get started.
