Jabu’she Swedish Facial Skincare Line, Product Provided…

When I was younger, I used to pinch the skin on my mom’s hand and compare how slowly it went down with how fast mine did. With age, skin loses it’s elasticity and healthful texture. Now, my daughter does the pinching thing to me. At age 34, I can no longer deny the need of a good skincare regimen as I see my face changing.

That said, I really had no idea where to start. I tried researching some drug store brands and trying various items. What I found, from a recent skin consultation, was that these were drying out and damaging my skin even more. I didn’t mind investing in better quality items but the question was which ones to use. Have you heard of Jabu’she? It’s a complete anti-aging and skincare line for women (or men) from Sweden.

I received the following products to try out:

• 24-hour cream
• 24-hour cream, soft
• 24-hour eye cream
• Anti-wrinkle serum
• Eye lift serum
• Cleansing lotion
• Facial tonic
• Moisture mask

I love that you don’t need water to put on the cleansing lotion. It’s much easier to apply and rinsing it off is no biggie. The facial tonic is in a spray bottle and is kind of awkward. It’s so strange to spray something like that on your face! The other option is spraying it in your hand first but that’s odd as well. The combination of both is refreshing and makes my skin feel clean.

With the 24-hour creams, I didn’t notice any noticeable differences except that I no longer have dry areas. I tend not to use these much, though, as the scent of both the facial creams are strong. I tried the ‘soft’ cream first and it seemed to give off a sour odor. The next time I gave it a go, it was more like a baby powder scent. The original cream was little less noticeable to me. Either way, I don’t really like smelling my own face…

The moisture mask goes on smooth and doesn’t feel greasy at all. I leave it on overnight and my skin still feels moisturized in the morning. As for the eye lift serum and the anti-wrinkle serum, I have yet to see any results. I keep using them though since I really want to get rid of the wrinkle between my eyebrows (I guess I frown a lot) and the bags under my eyes (too many late-night blog posts).

I love how pure and light all the products feel. The pores on my skin seems smaller and I’ve been less oily. However, I do still get blemishes here or there. I’m not sure if the changes are due to the Jabu’she line or if it’s connected with regularly caring for my skin. I am happy to report that I did not have any adverse reactions to any of the items though.
