The drought in California is becoming more and more serious. Seeing the water levels of this landmark was both breathtaking and sad. Poor Lake Shasta…

Wow that is amazing and sad!
Poor Lake Shasta indeed! Hopefully they will some more rain this year.
I have never heard of this lake, but it’s beautiful!
Hopefully some rain will come, but yeah, that is sad… although it does still look beautiful. I can imagine when the water level is up, it is spectacular.
I’ve been to Lake Shasta lots of times and I can’t believe it looks like this now. The last time we went I notices a lot of lakes dried up, which is very sad indeed.
Oh my gosh, that is terrible. I’ve never seen a lake look like that before.
Wow, that is so pretty! I want to come and visit my stepson. He is in Mammoth Lakes.
Goodness what a view! IT is like something you would see in a movie, really pretty! It is sad that the drought is that bad, and I agree a beautiful site, and then sad to hear why it looks so low!!!
This is so beautiful, I hope the drought gets better. We’ve had some pretty weird weather tis year!
Despite the water loss it is quite lovely.
It is beautiful, but I agree it is shocking. I wonder how much more California can take of the drought?
We drove by Shasta in January and it was low then. I can’t imagine what it will look like by the end of the summer. So sad!!
Yikes sometimes we don’t realize how powerful mother nature can be.
Our lake in Nevada is very much the same. I hate droughts!
Wow, that is breath taking!
