Since we’ve been heading south quite a bit lately, my family and I decided to take a short trip north this time by heading up to Mt. Shasta and back down through California’s wine country. So, we stayed at The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa in Sonoma, California.

I agree that they have sooooo many properties it’s hard to decide. I love the Ritz and the JW. Your hotel looked pretty awesome too!
Sounds like they really took care of you!! I love how they let you have a later check out and offered a gift or points! That is really cool of them! It looks like a beautiful place to stay!!

I love Marriott hotels. And I love their Rewards program.
I am a hotel snob so nice accommodations without breaking the bank are a must. I think I would nominate my husband since he works 50+ hours a week and very rarely ever does special things for himself.
