Education Day at Maker Faire will be on 5/20 from 11:00am to 2:00pm for grades K-12. This preview field trip is designed to give kids a sneak peek of what goes into setting up such a large event while giving them a chance to meet some Makers and participate in a few activities themselves.
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Field trips can be organized for up to 15 kids and 2 adults and each attendee will get to return on Saturday or Sunday for free.
A new arrangement has been made for homeschooling families! For only $50, you can get the Homeschool Family Pass which covers admission for up to five people on Friday AND a return ticket for Saturday or Sunday.
This is a great opportunity to see the ‘before’ and ‘after’ of the event, really immersing your child(ren) in the experience of the faire!
