Summer picnics are not just for the kids. We, parents, need some wind-down time in between activities too. So what do you pack for the grown-ups in your group or on a picnic for two? Cheese and crackers are always a good idea. What about wine? Well, then you have to lug the whole bottle, bring a wine opener, have nice glasses (it just doesn’t taste the same from Dixie cups), etc., etc. What about some Michelob Ultra Light Cider?
Okay, now I was a bit clueless when I took on this review because, despite the item being from Michelob, I thought it was plain apple cider without any alcohol. It’s not. Since I’m not too fond of alcohol, I made a friend test it for me. She was exhausted after a full day and was anxious to get a little bubbly. She loved the flavor AND the fact that it was gluten-free (she’s allergic). It had a crisp and refreshing taste, similar to that of a Granny apple. The ‘light’ part is due to the use of Sucrose and Stevia, making it a nice treat without the added calories.
What about the alcohol content? There’s only 4%. So, more than likely, you won’t be dancing on table-tops with one bottle. There’s just enough to add a relaxing vibe to your meal or snack. It’s more like a wine cooler, but with less sugar.
Do you think you’ll be picking up some of this for your next beach or park picnic?

Hmm, this one’s really refreshing.
I would like to taste its crisp taste, my dad’s gonna love it!
So far I’ve had 3 different people taste it and they all liked it! Let me know what your dad thought!
