For the next year, I’m excited to share that I will be part of the Netflix Stream Team. You know those evenings when you want to sit down and enjoy a movie but have no idea what to watch? With Netflix’s suggestions and huge streaming library, maybe we can help give you some ideas for your personal, date, girls only, or family movie night.
This month, the topic for movies focuses on mini milestones. From the day our kids enter this world, they begin to their experience “firsts” and this continues on throughout their lives. I remember fondly when my daughter first started eating solid food, when she lost her tooth, her first steps, etc. Even just this past summer, Munchkin flew on a plane by herself (across the country to visit my sister) for the first time. We were probably more nervous than she was but she ended up having a great time.
Celebrating Mini Milestones with Netflix
Here are some television shows and movies to celebrate other firsts they might be experiencing:
New Sibling: The Hive: S01E01, Babee’s Room
Losing Your First Tooth: Super WHY: S01E10, The Story of the Tooth Fairy
Getting Glasses: Arthur: S15E09, Through the Looking Glasses
First Sleepover: Bratz Kidz: Sleep-over Adventure
First Pet: Beethoven
First Spelling Bee: Akeelah and the Bee
First Road Trip: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
First Job: Good Burger
What mini milestones have your children celebrated lately?
I received a year subscription of Netflix and a device to stream the content as part of the Netflix Stream Team. All opinions are my own.

My daughter is hooked now! She’s watching all these old kids tv shows.
For my youngest son it is his first year of high school and for my oldest it is his last. This year was my daughters first time participating in a group “sport” for lack of a better word when she signed up for twirling.
I love Netflix. They have such a great selection of shows for kids.
I get so much value out of my subscription. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made.
I love Neflix and their selection of movies for the boys. 🙂
I love watching movies and shows on Netflix. My daughter just turned 17!
I love my Netflix subscription. I’ve had it since it launched. I can’t live with out it. Neither can the family.
My children enjoy watching the shows on Netflix. I’ll have to have them watch Beethoven sometime, as that was always a favorite of mine as a kid.
I cannot think of any milestones our children have reached lately. They are all over 4 years old so it isn’t like they are babies and toddlers learning new things every day. My 11 year old is learning tae kwon do and he learned to make homemade bread.
I absolutely love Netflix. We watch it every change we get and I love that it’s affordable.
Celebrating firsts are always fun! My oldest recently attended her first school dance and my husband just attempted homemade Chinese food for the first time.
