A classic family film that many might not know of is My Neighbor Totoro. This Japanese animation (anime) full-length feature was directed by the famed Hayao Mitazaki and, since being brought over by Disney with a dubbed soundtrack, has won the hearts of many families here in the US. My Neighbor Totoro is a heartwarming tale of childhood imagination and the special bond between sisters. It’s cute, sweet, quirky, and I love Totoro and Cat Bus (I’ve had those magnets for years)!
To celebrate it’s 25th anniversary, Disney is now releasing My Neighbor Totoro for the first time on Blu-Ray. You’re sure to fall in love with it as much as we have. It’s great to see a movie my family has enjoyed for so long get a digital makeover with enhanced sound and interesting extras.
