May is National Pet Month and Logitech is teaming up with the San Francisco SPCA and Boston’s MSPCA-Angell for a special promotion. Rescued pets are near and dear to my heart as our own pup, Speckles, was a rescue. Did I ever tell you that story? If not, here it goes.
National Pet Month — Speckles’ Rescue Story
These past five years with Speckles have been wonderful and we’re so glad to have her as part as our family. When we decided to get a dog, we knew that we wanted to get a rescue versus a dog from a breeder. There are so many wonderful animals in shelters that need homes. However, since we were first-time dog owners, we knew we couldn’t handle one with deep emotional issues.
Speckles’ mom and seven siblings were in a kill shelter. A kind family pulled them out and worked with a local rescue. The family actually fostered all nine dogs until they could all find loving forever homes. Speckles (who was previously named “Panda”) came to us at 8 weeks old and we couldn’t be happier with her. I would love for other families to experience the joy of adopting a pet that we have. (Even though she’s not smiling in the photo below, my daughter was thrilled too. 😛 )
Logitech Logi Circle & Animal Adoption During National Pet Month
After adoption, there’s more to owning a pet. In a new survey, Logitech found out that about 77% of pet parents felt like they were abandoning their fur babies when leaving the house. That’s why the Logi Circle Home Security Camera is ideal for putting pet parents at ease. We can check in on our pets from anywhere to see what mischief they’re up to or to make sure they’re comfy and cozy at home.
Here are the details of the promotion from Logitech and the two featured adoption centers.
- Pet adopters at San Francisco SPCA and Boston’s MSPCA-Angell during May will be gifted a Logi Circle Home Security Camera ($199.99 value).
- Then, between June and October, Logitech will provide on-site cat or dog adopters at San Francisco SPCA and Boston’s MSPCA-Angell with a $50 discount coupon towards the Logi Circle.
- Proud pet parents can also join the fun on social media by showing off their pet – using the Logi Circle to make Day Briefs videos – with the #PetProud hashtag.
- You can also check-in remotely and view pets in action with Logi Circle video feeds from San Francisco SPCA and Boston’s MSPCA-Angell.
I just received a Logi Circle the other day to try out and, as part of the deal, I will also be able to give one away here on Cookies & Clogs so stay tuned. In the meantime, don’t forget to spread the word that those who adopt a cat or dog during National Pet Month in May will receive a FREE Logi Circle. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Pet Month! 🙂
A Logi Circle was sent to me for review purposes but I was not required to share this news. I just think it’s a great partnership and promotion! All opinions are my own.
