When Munchkin was around 4 years old and we lived in the Netherlands, we took her to Disneyland Paris. The overall feel of that Disney park was way different than anything we’ve experienced at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. It must be due to the culture between France and the U.S. Not bad, just different 🙂 It was so weird to go on classic dark rides like Peter Pan and Pinocchio but only hear French!
Our absolute favorite ride was the Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith, well, at least for Frans and I. Munchkin was too small so we had to take advantage of the Rider Switch Service. That means that one would ride while the other waited with our daughter. Then, we would switch. We loved the ride but it was kind of a bummer we couldn’t go together. After 11 years, we were finally able to ride Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster (this time at Walt Disney World) as a family!
Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Video
Thanks to the team organizing the 2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, we even got video footage of the whole thing. Frans and Munchkin rode in the front and I jumped in the seat behind them, which was fully set up to record the fun.
Though my reaction in this Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster video is a it embarrassing to share, it demonstrates just how good of a time we had during the trip 😛 If you ever visit Walt Disney World or Disneyland Paris, you NEED to ride this!
Have you ever gone on Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster?
Disclosure: I was invited to attend the 2015 Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. As part of this, we received hefty discounts on our lodging, food, and park admission and enjoyed special programming for attendees. All opinions are my own.
