Six Flag Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA is having its annual Homeschool Day. This year it will take place on November 11, 2010 from 11am-5pm. This is a great event for homeschool children as well as their family and friends. The whole park is reserved for this group alone so there are hardly any lines and the park is so much more fun.
I went to this about 2 years back and hoping to go again this year, especially since my daughter is tall enough to go on all the rides now. If you buy your tickets before October 8th, it is only $19.99 per person – that’s 60% off the regular price! There is also an option for an All-U-Can-Eat Homeschool Picnic for an additional $10.99 per person but I can’t tell you how the food is as I have not purchased this option before.
