I just had to share this because it looks so stinkin’ cute! When the new Winnie the Pooh movie is released this summer (7/15), it will include a brand new animated short called “The Ballad of Nessie”. Doesn’t it look cute?!
The short is about a Loch Ness monster, Nessie, and her best friend/rubber duck, MacQuack, living in Scotland. These screenshots have just been released. I love the classic look of the art with the textured backgrounds. I can’t wait to see this!

It does look cute!!! Animation is superb these days.
True. But with so much CG, I miss the old look of ‘traditional’ animation. Even though that is done on computer as well, it still has a warm, fuzzy feel.
