Gorgeous!

Isn’t it though? I love the way the sunlight hits the canyon at different times of day!

Liz @ A Nut in a Nutshell February 8, 2012 - 10:19 am

Absolutely beautiful! You’ve been on the road a lot!

I wish! We’ve just had a few nice ones (which I am cleverly spacing out among posts) and happen to be total shutterbugs. We need to plan a few more vacays so I don’t run out of material!

What a lovely photo!

Thank you – I love that we were able to get the river in this shot!

I would love to go see the Grand Canyon. This is the best time of the year to go visit it, too.

Cookies & Clogs February 13, 2012 - 10:00 pm

Is it really? Not too cold and snowy? We went in April and it was gorgeous!

Jenn February 8, 2012 - 3:35 pm

Beautiful shot with the river. Isn’t it bizarre how a photo can’t capture the vastness? It’s one of those things everyone should see in person.

Cookies & Clogs February 13, 2012 - 10:01 pm

I think that’s because what makes the Grand Canyon amazing is its sheer size! Yes, I was happy we got one with the river as well. There were many times it was kind of hazy or the viewing spot didn’t allow for a good shot!

Jenna @ For The Love of Baby! February 8, 2012 - 3:43 pm

I would LOVE to go there.

Maybe when the twins are old enough to enjoy it 🙂

Agreed! I think it must be an extraordinary experience to go to the bottom and camp there too!

As you stand at the rim, there is not doubt in your mind why it’s such a tourist spot – there’s no where else quite like it!

monique February 8, 2012 - 6:58 pm

Such a breathtaking shot — so beautiful.

Cookies & Clogs February 22, 2012 - 2:21 pm

Thank you – it was a bit hard to adjust it so the fog/haze didn’t blur the shot.
